Young volunteers from nearby schools and universities lined up at the hospital’s blood bank last week. Under the supervision of nurses, each donor after a brief health check, provided a unit of blood. “I feel proud to do my part; donating blood is the simplest way I can help someone else,” said one student volunteer. Hospital staff commended the initiative: “Seeing our youth step forward is inspiring. Their donations help keep our blood bank stocked and ready for patients,” noted the Head of Laboratory, Mr. Bismark Awuni.
