Banhart Specialist Hospital, in collaboration with three assembly members (Hon. Asare Kyeremah, Hon. Kyere Kwame, Hon. Kusi Appiah Kingsley) from the Abesim community, organized an open forum to raise awareness about the hospital’s services and promote quality healthcare. The event aimed to educate the public on the essential medical care available at the facility while encouraging community members to prioritize their health.
The assembly members played a crucial role in mobilizing the community and facilitating discussions during the forum. Representatives from the Business Development Department of the hospital highlighted key services, including general medical care, eye health services, maternal and child health, and advanced diagnostic testing. The importance of regular check-ups, early diagnosis, and timely treatment was also emphasized.
The open forum provided an interactive platform for residents to ask questions about their health concerns and learn about the modern facilities and expert care offered by the hospital. Participants expressed their gratitude to the assembly members and the hospital for bringing such a valuable initiative to their community. One of the assembly men noted, “This community approach is a step towards ensuring that everyone in our community is informed about the healthcare options available to them. Together, we can improve access to quality medical services.”
