Team medical delegation from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) in Accra, led by representatives from its Sunyani branch, recently visited Banhart Specialist Hospital to explore opportunities for strengthening healthcare partnerships and enhancing medical service delivery.
During the visit, the hospital’s management, led by Administrator Mr. Owusu Ansah, held preliminary discussions on the collaboration. This was followed by a physical assessment of the hospital’s facilities to evaluate areas for potential partnership. The evaluation covered key departments, including the laboratory, consulting rooms (corporate and prestige), records section, outpatient waiting areas, pharmacy, X-ray unit, ECG/ultrasound unit, stores, HDU, NICU and antenatal unit. Additionally, the team reviewed various administrative offices, conference room, wards, including emergency, maternity, general male and female, and ‘A’, ‘B’ and VIP wards. Discussions also focused on identifying potential areas for collaboration to enhance healthcare services and patient care delivery.
Both institutions expressed confidence and the importance to foster future partnership aimed at advancing quality healthcare and promoting community well-being.
